| Job Description | Seeking a self-motivated individual who meets deadlines with little oversight. This person should possess an excellent analytical background and have experience in data collection, management, and presentation. This position requires strong inter-personal skills and the ability to collaborate with managers at the division, operations, business unit, and group levels.DUTIES:
Manage/Maintain Pipeline Data Enter and modify opportunity data into applications/tools the business unit uses Address exception reports at business unit (BU) and Center level Ensure monthly wins, extensions, and other funding is captured as “win” Reconcile BD tools with contracts system (wins/losses, values) QC existing data to ensure accuracy Conduct searches of the database for opportunities already existing in the system – provides findings Attend weekly GTS Federal Salesforce reports to discover and coordinate any efforts Center can assist Liaison to GTS marketing resources Manage Weekly BD Status Reviews Maintain list of upcoming opportunities (in-plan, important-not-in-plan, other) Participate in quarterly revenue planning sessions Collaborate with Center VP and Division Directors to prepare weekly briefing Capture and distribute notes and action items Manage Business Acquisition Council (BAC) Reviews Process Coordinate with Division Directors/BAC providers to ensure plans for BACs are in place for opportunities Develop calendar for BAC reviews and ensure dates are populated Develop a system for reminder notices to be sent one week prior for BAC review to presenters Create a process for BAC slides to be sent to all BAC attendees prior to BAC meeting Send follow-up email to attendees showing action items Make corresponding changes in BD tools Make recommendations to BAC process at Center level Research and develop a competitor’s spreadsheet /report; and research and populate it with information gathered for analysis to include
Assist in the development and documentation of win strategies Assist in the development of business cases Develop and maintain BD sharepoint site(s) if necessary with specific group’s requirements Proposal Support Provide various levels of proposal support to include Writing assignments Data coordinator Key Personnel write ups (resumes, skills matrix, etc.) Past Performance document identification, coordination and write ups Document reviews/QC/final production/distribution Miscellaneous Marketing Support EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of experience. Preference for degree in business, economics, accounting or related field. Exceptions in degree can be made on a case-by-case basis. |
