.Net Developer- Crystal City, VA

  • You will have the chance to work in a web services environment using your analytical skills
  • You will have the chance to provide production support for the company’s critical business systems
  • Take on a detective role to solve complex problems for release fix but perform mostly production related development duties
  • Must have experience with web services development, WCF is a nice to have
  • Experience with Oracle on the back-end and current use of PL/SQL is required
  • You must have Unix commands and basic shell scripting experience
  • Experience with ASP.net, VB.net and/ or VB6 for maintenance and enhancements on a variety of existing web and (fat) client-server systems
  • You will have a chance to show off your data modeling skills
  • 50% of your time will be supporting this mission critical application using VB.Net (SQL scripts, troubleshooting, data analysis)
  • 50% of your time will be maintenance (VB.Net, C#, Unix, and Oracle- PL/SQL)
  • Reporting experience such as Crystal Reports (BOXI) is helpful
