MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  As a Recruiter, one has the responsibility to:  

  • Provide exceptional client service and full lifecycle recruiting within AECOM.
  • Recruit candidates in multiple skill sets through referrals, networking events, Internet recruiting web sites, job postings, job fairs, and by utilizing our database. 
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts.
  • Knowledgeable about the Company positions and the contracts supported.
  • Conduct prescreens on candidates.
  • Conduct follow-up calls with hiring managers and new hires.
  • Review the hiring manager’s interview performance with each candidate and take appropriate action when warranted.
  • Manage the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Work with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates.
  • Coordinate interview meetings with managers and candidates and candidate testing as applicable.
  • Build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and HR management to ensure hiring requirements are met.
  • Ensure positive applicant experience through the interview and hiring process.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement efforts.
  • Consistently update applicant tracking system and hiring managers in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and document candidate communication in our database.
  • Consistent participation in networking organizations and events is required.

  REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of two years of relevant recruiting experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and candidates.
  • Identify potential candidates based on job requisitions provided by our hiring managers using Job Boards, Employee Referrals, Placement Ads, Networking, Cold Calling, and External Placement Agencies.
  • Skilled in sourcing and screening candidate according to job requirements.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) is necessary.
  • Strong organizational, time management and communication skills.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills and be independently motivated.
  • The ability to work well under pressure.

EDUCATION:   Requires Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent work experience.

EXPERIENCE:  2 years working experience in the recruiting field or 4 years work experience in corporate business.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  Must possess good verbal, written and oral communication skills as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and use of internet.    

SECURITY:   Must be a U.S. Citizen, able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance
